I have a special, limited time offer to say thank you for becoming a member of The Artisan Life family: Keep your little learner happily occupied and learning with this fun, low-prep Christmas busy binder for the very low price of $1.99...but only for the next 15 minutes.
Let's be real, parent to parent. Kids are awesome, but they're also tiring. You want your child to give you a moment so you can wrap presents, grab a coffee, or just have a second to yourself. But you also want to know you're helping their development and furthering their education.
That's where this cheerful Christmas busy binder comes in!
Your child will love the bright Christmas illustrations and you'll love that they're learning and busy without using a screen.
Skills covered include:
- uppercase and lowercase letter matching
- letter recognition
- beginning and ending sounds
- feelings and emotions
- ordering and grouping
- tallest to shortest
- patterns
- counting 1-10
- cardinality
- 1-to-1 correspondence
They'll love the cute Christmas tree emotion game and you'll love that they're learning to name their feelings. (My daughter calls them "friendly monster trees"
They'll be so proud when they can complete the patterns, and you'll know that pattern completion is helping them develop pre-reading skills and their abilities to handle life's routines with equanimity.
They'll be thrilled to play with the presents and sort them, you'll be glad they''ll finally understand what what "bigger" and "smaller" mean.
Questions smart people ask
Who are you and what do you know about education?
I'm so glad you asked! I'm Natasha, a homeschool preschool mom and former classroom teacher with a Masters of the Arts in Teaching. I come from a family of educators and teaching is my passion.
What materials do I need to use the printables?
You don't need much to use these printables. You will need paper access to a printer, and scissors or a paper cutter. The pages fit neatly inside a 3 ring binder with page protectors for use and over again. I also recommend laminating the cut-out cards for durability. If you don't have a laminator, you can "laminate" cut out cards with clear packing tape. It isn't quite the same, but it's better than nothing!
