These free printable alphabet cut and paste craft is a no-prep way for children to practice fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and gluing skills.
The printable pack includes an animal for each letter for the alphabet from alligator to zebra!
These crafts are perfect for homeschool preschool, library activities, homeschool co-ops, and classroom use. They're a fun way to reinforce the alphabet after reading a popular books like the BOB Books alphabet series.

Materials needed for easy cut and paste alphabet craft
To make this craft, you will need:
- Your free printables (look for the row of purple arrows pointing at the download button)
- Printer access and paper or card stock
- Blunt tipped scissors
- Glue stick
- Blunt-tip Safety-edge Scissors
- Blade Sheath Included is an Eraser
- Accommodates right and left-handed users
First, print a sheet for each child making the craft.
Have each child cut out the pieces to make their animal craft. The complexity of each letter varies, but most are pretty easy to cut. The urchin is the most challenging.
TIP: Tell the children to not cut out the interior of each letter. These cuts are difficult to make and many of the letters have part of the animal's face on this interior portion, like you can see in the dog image below.

Glue the pieces together to make the alphabet animal craft. Each page has a preview image to show where all of the pieces go.
Add a craft stick to make a stick puppet, if you'd like. These also make fun bulletin board letters!
