Item cards are best laminated. For increased durability, cut out the pieces, then laminate them. Cut the cards out again, leaving a small lip of lamination around each border.

You do not need to super "fussy cut" around each and every piece - leaving a bit of white is fine. My daughter always likes to grab her blunt nosed scissors to help cut out pieces whenever we print a new dramatic play set.

Whenever you're done with a play set for the time being, just stash it away in an expanding folder to keep it neat and ready for next time! We've been using this expanding folder for 5 years and it's still working well.
