Gluten Free, Dairy Free Marshmallow Pops Instructions
Assemble the Marshmallows
For each lollipop stick or straw, push 3 marshmallows onto it, leaving a bit of space between each marshmallow for easier dipping and decorating.
Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 20-second increments, stirring in between until smooth. Make sure to stir thoroughly and avoid overheating the chips. Stirring helps them melt.
Dip the Marshmallow Pops
Hold each stick and dip all three marshmallows into the melted chocolate, gently tapping the stick on the edge of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
Set the Chocolate Coating
Place the chocolate-dipped marshmallow pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Drizzle with White and Red Chocolate
Melt the white chocolate and red candy melts separately in microwave-safe bowls.
If you're using white chocolate with red food coloring, melt your white chocolate, divide it, and add a couple of drops of red gel food coloring.
Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle the white candy melts over the chocolate-covered marshmallows.
Repeat with the red candy melts and then add heart sprinkles.
Let Harden and Serve
Leave the pops on the parchment paper until the chocolate and candy melts are completely set. Once hardened, they’re ready to serve and enjoy!
The pops can be placed in cello bags and used as a classroom treat.
