    We're Home!

We're hitched, honeymooned, home, and working on all the fun paperwork that comes after the wedding! I have my first piece of ID with my 'new name' and am feeling a little bit sketchy because I have identification with two different names. I know it's normal for this point in time, but it still seems strange!

I'm working on loads of tutorials and DIY wedding posts, but I'm going to hold off on most of them until after we have the 'real' photos. I'll also be posting self-catering tips. For now, I'll just say that I was thrilled to overhear guests saying "look how they did the icing!" while looking at my (self-made) cake. =)

Even though I'm not posting about the wedding yet, I have to share some honeymoon photos! We visited two other islands - Kauai for the first time and Big Island for the second. Kauai was a delightful change of pace from the traffic and bustle of Oahu. We took an awesome boat ride up the Na Pali coast and even got to go in several sea caves:

The next day, we took a helicopter ride that circled the entire island:

We also finally found something I've been looking for since the first time I visited two years ago: sea glass!!!

A few other highlights from the trip included visiting Hanapepe's swinging bridge. It's like something out of an Indiana Jones movie!

historic hanapepeWe finally visited the petroglyphs in Volcanoes National Park:

And, of course, there were plenty of beautiful flowers:

I can't wait to get working on all my DIY wedding posts, but for now it's back to unpacking, laundry, and paperwork. I look forward to sharing more soon!

I look forward to seeing your wedding photos. Your cake is so very cool!
I've been to Kauai twice, both times for about 1 week. It's such a beautiful island.

Nice! They have a four lane road mostly finished now, but the speed limit is still just 35 mph. Some locals were complaining about it because they were hoping for something more!

Congratulations, and welcome back! Your photos give a pretty good snapshot of all that you did, and wow! you did a lot! Thank you for sharing these photos with us. By the way, how do you add a personalize signature at the end of your post? I like how it looks.

        Thank you!
It's actually pretty easy - it's just an image that I have uploaded and insert each time. I usually link it to my G+ page, too, but I think I may have forgotten this time...

The super easiest part is I have the file saved as "Natasha" so I can just search about the first three letters and it pops right up in my photo library instead of having to scroll a lot!
