Ingredients

1 cup of rice, well rinsed

1 1/2 cups of water, or as directed by your rice's packaging

20 grams of ginger, or to taste
Instructions
If you're using fresh ginger, peel it and grate using a microplane. If you don't have a microplane, mince it as finely as possible or use the smallest holes on your regular grater.Add the water and ginger to your rinsed rice.Bring uncovered pot to a boil, drop the burner's heat to low, cover, and allow to cook until the water has been absorbed and the rice is tender, about 15 - 17 minutes.Remove from heat, fluff with a fork, and serve!
