How to make your frog craft: step-by-step directions

First, grab your free frog template worksheets by using the download link lower in the post.

Print as many copies as you'll need of either the color version of the black and white. You only need one page for each child participating.

If you're using the black and white version of this simple craft, color the frog before cutting it out.

Completing the handwriting portion of the activity is also easiest before cutting out the frog pieces.

A printed activity sheet for kids titled "Frog Cut & Paste" features a frog template with sections for cutting out a frog's body and legs, alongside a space for practicing the word "frog."

Once your students are ready, have them use blunt-tipped scissors to cut out their paper frog's pieces.

A frog craft template featuring a cutout of a frog's head, body, and legs, alongside a glue stick, suitable for various frog-themed activities for kids and preschoolers.

To assemble the frog, glue the legs to the body:

A two-part paper frog craft showing the head and body, designed for kids' activities related to frogs and amphibians, suitable for preschool and kindergarten art projects.

Then glue the head on top of the legs and body.

A cutout of a cartoon frog, suitable for preschool activities, is displayed on a wooden surface, ideal for various frog-themed crafts for kids.

That's it! Your frog craft is now ready to use.

Frogs can be attached to a large craft stick to use as a stick puppet, placed on toilet paper rolls to make them stand up, displayed on your classroom bulletin board, or even turned into sun catchers in a window.
