This free printable cabbage cut and paste craft is a no-prep way for children to practice fine motor skills, handwriting, hand-eye coordination, and gluing skills.
In addition to the cut and paste cabbage craft, each page also has space to trace the word "cabbage." The craft is available in two versions - one color and one black and white.
Materials needed for a cabbage paper craft
To make this craft, you will need:
- Your free printable (look for the row of purple arrows pointing at the download button)
- Printer access and paper or card stock
- Blunt tipped scissors
- Glue stick
- Preschool pencil or something else to write and trace with
- Colored pencils or crayons, if you're using the coloring page version
- Blunt-tip Safety-edge Scissors
- Blade Sheath Included is an Eraser
- Accommodates right and left-handed users
My daughter prefers to trace and write the word on her cut and paste worksheets before coloring or cutting out the pieces. It's easiest for little learners to write on the page while it's still intact.
Coloring the cabbage pieces is easiest before cutting out the pieces. Your child may want to use different green crayons or pencils, practice shading, or make a fanciful cabbage with rainbow colors.
Next, cut out the pieces.
Glue the pieces together to make a cabbage. It's pretty easy to assemble following the guide image. Two leaves glue on the top back of the cabbage ball and two leaves glue onto the bottom front.
That's it! This is a super easy, no-prep St. Patrick's Day craft that your kids will be enjoying just minutes from now.
