- Your free printable (look for the row of purple arrows pointing at the download link)

- Pencil for drawing
- Dice (each child needs a single die or can take turns sharing a die)
- Crayons or markers for coloring the completed snowman, optional.
To play roll a snowman:
Print as many copes of the instruction grid page as you'd like. You might want to provide one per small group of students or one per child.
If you're placing the instructions in a classroom center, you can slide the page into a dry erase pocket for protection.
- Package includes 6 dry erase pocket sleeves in 6 bright colors, which are red, green, yellow, orange, pink, and blue.
- Mr. Pen dry erase pocket sleeves are made with durable and long-lasting PET plastic with industrial-grade stitching according to the highest quality...
- Our dry erase pockets measure 10 x 14 inches, which makes them perfect for storing most sizes of paper or student activity sheets.
Give each child a sheet to draw their snowman on. You may want to provide a blank sheet, but there are two different options included in the PDF file. One has four cards to draw on and the other page has the option for creative writing.
Have each child roll a die, then draw the corresponding snowman part shown in the chart.
On the child's first roll, s/he will draw the head style corresponding to the number of pips on the die. On the second roll, s/he will draw eyes, and so on.
Keep playing until each child's snowman is complete!
The finished snowmen can be colored, used as the basis for writing prompts, or used for show and tell.
