How to make a sea turtle crown
First, download your printable PDF file from lower down in the post. Print one turtle page for each child making the craft and one extra band page for every two children making the craft.
- If you're making the craft with just one child, print one copy of each page.
- Toddlers may only need the first page without extra bands, depending on their head size.
- Most children will need a small portion of a second band. Turn the rest of the spare band pieces into bracelets!
Color the turtle and bands before cutting. Toddlers may only need the turtle portion and one extra band. Older children will need a bit of a second extra band piece if they want the crown to sit across their foreheads instead of "perching" on top.
Cut out the turtle crown portion and bands.
Tape the bands to make a crown that fits each child.
Turn extra band pieces into bonus bracelets!
