How to print and use your beginning letter sounds activity
This beginning letter sounds turkey is low prep and easy to turn into a file folder game or classroom center activity.
Materials needed:
- Your free printable PDF activity pages (look for the row of purple arrows lower down in the post
- Printer access and paper
- Laminator and/or dry erase pockets, optional
- 1" circle punch or scissors
- File folder, optional
First, grab your free printable PDF file from lower down in the post.
Print one copy of each page.
Cut or punch out the cut out disks. They are sized perfectly for use with a 1" hole punch.
Laminate the beginning letter sound pieces if you want them to be more durable. If you're cutting the pieces out by hand, laminating first saves time and cutting. If you're using a 1" circle punch, you may need to punch, laminate, then cut.

Show your child or students how to draw a token and match the image's picture to the correct beginning letter sound on the turkey. You can have your child use poster putty to hold the pieces in place. This also brings extra fine motor practice.
Keep playing until all the letters on the turkey have been covered.
Clear the page and play again!
