I'm a really picky parent when it comes to the books and toys my daughter can have!
I believe toys should be open-ended and invite imaginative play. I also try to keep potentially hazardous or toxic toys out of my little one's hands! I love natural materials and seeking out the best non-toxic toys.
I do lots of research before buying anything for my daughter, and these toddler toy guides are the result of that research.
These toys are also developmentally appropriate and invite play. They're not electronic toys that just play with themselves! (I hold a Masters of the Arts in Teaching and am a huge nerd for developmental psychology
The vast majority of the items I recommend are either things we own or have played with in person (at children's museums, friend's houses, etc.). They're toddler and mom-approved toys that you can feel good about!
