Coloring the bee is easiest before cutting out the pieces. Once you're ready to assemble the bee, glue the wings and stinger to the back of the body. Glue the antennae to the front or back of the head, and the head on top of the body.
Of course, my daughter decided to glue the head behind and the wings on front. She also used red paint instead of glue. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's easy to turn the cute bee into a puppet when you glue it to a craft stick, paper bag, or toilet paper roll. Make sure to discover this post on how to sanitize toilet paper rolls for crafts.
