To make "homework" feel a lot more like play, I am so excited to share my new set of animal alphabet tracing pages!
Each page features a different letter of the alphabet with a happy dog your kiddo needs to "help." From a-z, each page has an animal name to trace so your little learner can practice handwriting, fine motor skills, and animal names. I hope you enjoy!

What’s Inside the Handwriting Practice Pack?
Each worksheet is designed with clear, easy-to-follow lines to help your little learner build confidence. On every page, you’ll find:
Uppercase letters for practicing big movements. Uppercase letters are usually easier for kids to write.
Lowercase letters to practice fine motor control.
Animal names to help them understand how letters come together to form words.
A cute digging dog to "help" and color!

Why is Handwriting Practice Important?
In our digital world, it’s easy to wonder if handwriting still matters. The answer is a resounding yes! Using physical tracing pages offers several developmental benefits:
Fine motor development. Holding a pencil and following a specific path strengthens the small muscles in the hand and wrist.
Letter recognition. Tracing helps "lock in" the shape of the letter in a child's memory much more effectively than just looking at a screen.

Hand-eye coordination. Navigating the curves of an 'S' or the points of a 'K' requires the eyes and hands to work together in a complex way.
Better recall of material learned. Research shows that people learn better from reading a physical book than from reading on a screen. People also retain more when they write by hand instead of typing.
Creative Ways to Use Handwriting Practice Pages
You don’t have to just sit at a desk with a pencil! Here are a few ways to make these alphabet pages even more engaging:
Make a reusable workbook or classroom center pages when you slide the pages into plastic dry-erase pockets or laminate them. Your child can use colorful dry-erase markers to practice over and over again.
- Package includes 6 dry erase pocket sleeves in 6 bright colors, which are red, green, yellow, orange, pink, and blue.
- Mr. Pen dry erase pocket sleeves are made with durable and long-lasting PET plastic with industrial-grade stitching according to the highest quality...
- Our dry erase pockets measure 10 x 14 inches, which makes them perfect for storing most sizes of paper or student activity sheets.

Practice rainbow writing. Have your child trace over each page in every color of the rainbow!
Finger tracing first is a great strategy for younger kids. Have them "trace" the letters using their index finger or even a Q-tip dipped in paint before moving on to a pencil.
Create an alphabet book by stapling the completed pages together! You can also hole punch them and tie them together with yarn or use binder rings.
- ◐ Convenient to use, just pull to open and squeeze to close.
- ◐ Good ring, made of iron material, strong and durable. Multi-layer nickel-plated steel rings prevent rusting, color unfading.
- ◐ The rings can be used for loose-leaf book, paper cards, key rings, scrapbooking, create a handmade journal, DIY projects or other loose-leaf...
