Materials needed for August cut and paste coloring page
You don't need much for this printable fine motor activity. All you need is:
- Your free printable PDF (look for the row of purple arrows lower down in the post)
- Printer access and paper
- Child-friendly scissors
- Glue, tape, poster putty, or play dough
You can make this page reusable by laminating the sheet and placing a hook and loop dot (such as Velcro brand dots) on the back of each tile and corresponding square. This makes it easy to turn into a file folder activity for use in classroom centers.

To use the worksheet, have your child or students cut out the letter tiles with dotted lines. Next, have them glue the letter tiles on top of the appropriate letter squares at the top of the page.
It's easiest for kids to cut out the letter tiles if they begin by cutting off the entire bottom section along the dotted line.
In addition to a space to cut and paste the letters of "August," this page also has back to school themed images to color.
