How to make your easy carrot craft: step-by-step directions

First, grab your free carrot template worksheets by using the download link lower in the post.

Print as many copies as you'll need of either the color version of the black and white. You only need one page for each child participating.

If you're using the black and white version of this simple craft, color the carrot before cutting it out.

A hand is holding a crayon above a "Carrot Cut & Paste" worksheet featuring a carrot outline and paw print shapes, surrounded by colorful sheets of paper, highlighting a DIY carrot craft activity for Easter, suitable for preschool children.

Completing the handwriting portion of the activity is also easiest before cutting out the carrot pieces.

Once your students are ready, have them use blunt-tipped scissors to cut out their paper carrot's pieces.

To assemble the carrot, simply glue the leaves to the top of the carrot from the back:

That's it! Your simple carrot craft is finished.

Completed carrots can be used as bulletin board decorations, strung up to make a garland, used as stick puppets, or placed in the window. How will you use this carrot craft with your students or children? Leave a comment to let me know!
