How to use color by number pages
Number coloring pages are no-prep, fun, and educational. These are black and white pictures, so there's no need to use up your colored ink.
If your child is still working on their color words, you can make color keys by coloring in the tip of each crayon with the appropriate color. Older children who are reading color names can make their own key.
You don't need many materials to make and use this princess coloring book. Here's what you'll need:
- Your PDF file
- Paper and printer access
- Crayons or colored pencils

Next, print the pages you want to use. This set of color by number printables uses the numbers 1-10, but they are not all on the same page. This allows you to differentiate instruction and work on the numbers your child is learning right now.
Show your child how to select a number, identify the color, and then color each space containing that number on the page.
As noted above, these are simple pages with a large coloring area, simple line art, and a small number of segments per page.
These pages are ideally suited to preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten children. Children who are 1st grade and older probably will not be engaged by these easy color by number pages, unless they need extra practice with smaller numbers.
