This free printable apple basket cut and paste craft is a no-prep way for children to practice fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and gluing skills. It's easy to customize to suit your particular materials and lesson focus.

Materials needed for an easy apple basket craft
To make this craft, you will need:
- Your free printable (look for the row of purple arrows pointing at the download button)
- Printer access and paper or card stock
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Preschool pencil or something else to write and trace with
- Colored pencils, markers, or crayons

First, print a sheet for each child who will be making the craft.
Have your children or students color the basket and apple pieces before cutting them out. We're loving the Ohuhu acrylic paint markers for projects like this. They don't feather or leak through! I realize it sounds too good to be true, so I made a quick video clip to show you:

Fussy cutting the apples can be difficult, even for adults. My daughter and I both left some white around the stem and leaf area to make our lives easier.

I used a glue stick, but my daughter preferred to use tape. I started by flipping over my basket and gluing four apples in place.

Next I glued three apples into a second row on top of the first row. My daughter arranged hers a little differently so the apples went four - two - one in a pyramid.

Finally, I glued the basket handle in place.

That's it! Your apple basket craft is finished!
