Free Printable Presidents Day Activity Placemats

Presidents' Day was originally celebrated on George Washington's birthday on February 22. In 1971, the name was changed to Presidents' Day and the date was set as the third Monday of February, which frequently falls near Abraham Lincoln's birthday on February 12.

Even though the holiday now honors all US Presidents, Washington and Lincoln remain the two most popular Presidents to highlight on this holiday.

How to print and use activity placemats

These Presidents' Day placemat printables are sized for US letter paper.

If you want a different background color, you could use a pastel paper. Using a darkly colored paper could make the fun placemat designs difficult to see and use.

It's easy to make your free activity placemats reusable when you laminate the pages or slide each one into a heavy duty page protector or dry erase pocket. This also makes messes easy to wipe off!

If you decide to laminate the pages, make sure to provide wet/dry erase markers or, our favorite, Stabilo Woody 3-in-1 pencils.
