This Easter basket craft is a no-prep way to help children practice their fine motor skills. They'll have so much fun they won't even realize they're doing something "good for them" at the same time!

This set of free paper Easter basket templates includes seven options: three black and white baskets, three colorful baskets, and one blank Easter basket template to decorate.

Materials needed to make a paper Easter basket

You don't need much to make your paper basket! Here's what you'll need:

Your free printable PDF. Look for the row of purple arrows lower down in the post.
Printer access and paper. Regular paper or card stock can be used. Card stock is sturdier, but also more difficult for little hands to cut and fold.
Crayons or colored pencils.
Scissors.
Glue.

Instructions are included in the PDF and there's also a quick video for you:

Print as many pages as you'd like of the basket template you want to use.

Color or decorate the basket before cutting it out. (My daughter decided against coloring hers.)

Cut out the basket, then fold along the lines.

Fold the tabs on the short ends to the inside, then glue in place. My daughter chose to use tape, which works too.

Glue or tape the handle in place.
