These worksheets are completely no-prep!
There are 10 different pages with turkeys in costumes. Each page has the text “I am not a turkey! I am a…(peacock, Christmas tree, etc.). There are four lines for children to write about their turkey’s costume.
You can set your own writing prompt, but I like to ask the child to give a reason to not eat the turkey based on the turkey’s costume. For example. “I am not a turkey! I am a super hero. Please don’t eat me. I fight crime.”
