This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me and me alone.
I share what I love because I suffer from what my mom calls “Teachers without Classrooms.” I hold a Masters of the Arts in teaching and have spent years in public education – I can’t help sharing what I know! I love teaching, sharing, and helping so much.
At the same time, I do believe it is okay that I am compensated by advertisers for the time and effort I put into sharing here on The Artisan Life.
You see ads on my site – I am compensated for these advertisements. I do not control the content of these ads. If you see an ad you find distasteful or offensive, my advertising partner, MediaVine, has a report offensive content feature.
I also include product recommendations in many posts. It’s important to note that I absolutely do not share items simply to make a buck – I only link to thinks I would recommend to a friend or family member.
Any compensation I receive does not influence the content, topics or posts I make. (I actually have posts where I actively caution people against using a particular brand when I could have made money from being an affiliate, instead!)
Occasionally I am provided with a product for review and for my time and sharing my opinions and I am allowed to keep the product for my personal use. These posts have a clear disclosure at the top.
Amazon Affiliate Disclosure Notice: It is important to also note that The Artisan Life is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
I am also an affiliate with other programs, including, but not limited to, Willowing Arts, My Blueprint, Skillshare, and Knitpicks. Again, I only recommend products I truly believe in. Trust and integrity are far more important to me than a few dollars!
