Materials needed for a groundhog paper craft

To make this craft, you will need:

Your free printable (look for the row of purple arrows pointing at the download button)
Printer access and paper or card stock
Bl unt tipped scissors
Glue stick
Preschool pencil or something else to write and trace with
Colored pencils or crayons, if you're using the coloring page version

Have your child or students color the pieces before cutting them out.

Next, cut out the pieces.

Glue the pieces together to make a groundhog! A reference image is included, but this craft is a simple one.

Glue the arms and legs to the body, then glue the face/head to the body. The arms and legs can go in front or behind the body piece, but the head needs to go in front.

Add a craft stick to turn your groundhog into a puppet, if desired.
