Materials needed for play dough number mats
- Your free printable play dough number mats. Look for the row of purple arrows lower down in the post.
- Printer access and paper. I used this 32 lb bright white paper.
- Laminator, page protectors, or dry erase pockets.

- Dry erase marker or dry erase crayon
Your child can complete the ten frame with pieces of play dough, with a marker, or by placing small manipulatives like mini erasers.

How to use play dough number mats
Each of these number mats has ample opportunities to trace and make the featured number.
Your child will: fill in the missing number, trace the number word, trace with correct number formation graphics, trace a dotted font, fill in a ten frame, complete an image, and make the number with play dough.
