April is the fourth month of the year (in the modern Gregorian calendar) and when most of us in the Northern Hemisphere start to see signs of spring. It's a great month for starting a garden (get your free garden planner here!).
Because it's the first full month of spring, April is frequently seen as a time of new growth. The name "April" comes from the Latin word aperire, which means "to open."
April is frequently designed as Earth Month and is also World Autism Awareness Month.

Important events and dates in April 2025
In most years, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, and Palm Sunday fall in April. In 2024, Easter fell in March, but for 2025 it's back in April.
Here are a few of the important dates and major holidays in April 2025 that you may want to note on your printable calendar templates:

- Easter - April 20

It's easy to print these calendars on an A4 paper size. Just make sure you select "scale to fit entire image" in your print dialogue box.
You can print these for other size planner systems, too, and trim the pages down to size with a paper trimmer.
