The Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, is traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2. (Other days, like October 31 and November 6 are sometimes observed regionally.)
Many different Day of the Dead traditions exist in Latin America, but the multi-day celebration is always focused on honoring and remembering the deceased.
These Day of the Dead dot marker pages can be used as part of a social studies lesson, with a Spanish lesson, or for no-prep fun at any time.

How to use dot marker coloring pages
My daughter loves using do a dot coloring pages with her Classic Do a Dot Markers.
She’s in first grade now and still using the same set of markers we bought for her at 18 months! These markers last for a long time.
For a no-mess activity, use these dot printables with colorful round label stickers. This makes a great road trip activity or easy activity for a doctor's office waiting room.
To provide even more fine motor challenge, use the printables with small manipulatives like pompoms or large buttons.
Your child can place the pompoms with their hands, or you can have your child use bamboo tongs, plastic tweezers, or small silicone tipped tongs to transfer the pompoms from a bowl onto the mat.
