Our favorite inexpensive markers are Crayola Super Tips. (We've had poor experiences with the Washables line drying up super quickly.) Their fine points can color the smaller areas in these color-by-number worksheets with ease.

One page has a number for "skin" color, but does not specify a specific skin tone. I recommend grabbing a box of the Crayola Colors of the World crayons if you'd like to have a range of skin tone options. I love that my daughter can find colors to represent members of our diverse family.
These free printable Mother's Day color by number pages can be used for a variety of purposes including:
- Math centers
- Early finishers
- Morning work
- Small groups
- Independent work
Each page has five or six colors. If your child or student can't recognize their color words yet, you can color in the corresponding crayon to make a color code key.
