How to print your own Valentine's Day cards

Printing your own Valentines is easy with these free printables!

I love using HP 32# paper for printables, but it is a little thin for cards. I recommend using a bright white cardstock for sturdier cards. See side by side comparisons in this post about the best paper for printables.

The smaller cards are already four to a page, so you just need to print and cut. There is also a back if you'd like to print "to" and "from." If you want to print the reverse, print however many copies of the front pages you'd like, place the paper back in your printer, and print multiple copies of the back page (page 3 in your PDF).

Pay careful attention to your specific printer to determine how to place your page when you print the backs. Many home printers print on the front-facing side of the sheet, which means you would place the already printed portion to the back.

For smaller cards, you could print both pages of cards on the same page. This is printing "two up." Your print dialogue box should look something like the image below. These smaller cards are great for classroom card exchanges.

Finally, cut the cards apart with a paper cutter or trimmer. I've used my paper trimmer with a guide wire for years - I love how easy it is to make accurate cuts with. You can also use scissors, but it takes longer and is less accurate.

The fold-over cards to not have separate backs to print. They are blank on the inside (when folded). Simply print and cut them apart.
