How to make a preschool/kindergarten graduation crown
First, grab your free printable PDF file from lower down in the post.
Print one copy of your desired page for each child who will be making the craft. Each page includes two extra band pieces. Most children kindergarten age and older will need a complete extra band and a few inches of the second band.
If you're using the coloring page version, have your children/students color before cutting out the craft.
Use blunt-tipped scissors to cut out the crown craft pieces.
- Safety Blunt Blades with Protective Cover: These kids scissors made of extra strong, durable, anti-rust and wear-resistant stainless steel flat-ground...
- Professional Kids Scissors: Ideal for children ages four and up use.

Tape one band piece to one side of the crown, then use as much of the second band as needed to make a comfortable fit for each child. Many people use staples to make this process quick, but staples tend to snag in hair. We prefer tape.
Wear and enjoy!
My kiddo was so excited about her craft, and proud of her status as a soon to be kindergarten graduate, that I didn't get any process photos. She had her crown colored and assembled in no time!
