Free Freezer Inventory Printable (to save your valuable time)

  • Share

Are you tired of finding old, freezer burned items at the bottom of your freezer? Or maybe you’re fed up with wasting time digging through frozen goods looking for something that, apparently, you actually don’t have anymore?

These free printable freezer inventory sheets are an easy way to keep track of everything in your freezer so you can save time and money!

Even better – you get to take your pick from color or black and white pages with and without categories so you can customize your organization routine.

A preview of four printable freezer inventory pages. There is a full page chart without categories and a page with four smaller charts organized by categories meat, produce, prepared meals, and other. Both versions are shown in color and black and white.

How to print and use your freezer inventory sheet

If you’re a regular reader, you know I love 32 lb HP printer paper. It’s thicker than regular printer paper, which means it holds up better to repeated use. Hopefully you’ll be using your freezer inventory printable a lot! You can place it in your household binder or hang it on your fridge/freezer. Either way, it’s going to see a lot of use.

Because you may end up handling your freezer inventory sheet with damp hands, consider laminating your page (and using a wet erase marker to write on it) or placing the sheet in a page protector. Inkjet ink does run when it gets wet. These precautions can protect your inventory page.

If you have access to a laser printer, or feel like making a quick trip to a copy shop, you can print these pages on a laser printer. Color laser pages cost a lot more than black and white, so I included a black and white version of the printable for you. If you want to make sure your pages don’t run and smudge if they get wet in the kitchen, have the pages run off on a laser printer or make a photocopy of your inkjet printed page. As much as I love colorful printers, I personally opted to print the sheets on my black and white laser printer so they’d last longer.

The easiest way to inventory your freezer for the first time is while doing a freezer clean-out. This lets you toss anything old and unusable, get organized, and accurately record everything.

Whenever you use something, make a note on your freezer inventory. Both versions of the inventory have a place to record items used:

Whenever you make an addition, add it to the bottom of your inventory. The uncategorized version has a space to add the date, the categorized version does not.

And that’s all here is to it! Using a freezer inventory sheet is a simple, easy way to save time, frustration, and money.
