I’m a South Carolinian, my husband is from Miami, and we lived in Hawaii for many years so this set of beach Santa coloring pages is relevant to my life. Printable coloring pages can be so much better than purchasing a printed coloring book. You don’t have to worry about your color choices. If you aren’t happy with the way the page turned out, you can just print a new copy and color it again. You can also use these surfing beach Santa coloring pages as DIY Christmas cards!

I use and recommend HP 32# paper for coloring pages. It’s thicker and brighter than “regular” copy paper, which helps keep markers from feathering. The paper also feels smoother, so pencils and crayons glide and color smoothly on it.

I think that the best budget markers for coloring Crayola Supertips. They’re a bargain and fun for adults and children. The fine tip makes them better than many other markers for coloring details. Because there are dozens of shades, they’re great for colorful Christmas pages.

How to make your own beachy Christmas cards

It’s fun, easy, and practically free to print your own beachy Christmas cards using coloring pages.

To turn these coloring pages into cards or post cards, simply print multi-up. For post cards, print 4 to a page, then cut them apart with a paper trimmer. The coloring pages are in portrait mode, so mach sure you select “portrait” when you print. The screenshot below if from Acrobat Reader, which is free to download if you don’t have it already:

For a large, fold over card, print using the “booklet” feature in Acrobat Reader. Select the “print front only” option, as shown, to make sure the card folds correctly. You may also need to select the specific page you want in the “pages to print” area.
